Why You Need 1080p High Definition Video

You’ll be amazed when you see the difference between the Zoom standard video resolution and 1080p!

Clarity and Detail

1080p resolution provides greater clarity and detail in video conferencing, making it easier to see facial expressions, gestures, and other important nonverbal cues. This can help to enhance communication and understanding, particularly in remote work or learning situations.

Professionalism

1080p resolution adds a professional touch to your video calls, whether you’re conducting business meetings or attending online classes. It shows that you take the communication seriously and have invested in the right equipment to ensure a high-quality experience for everyone involved.

User Experience

1080p resolution in Zoom can enhance the user experience for everyone involved in the call, as it ensures that everyone is on the same page visually. It can also make it easier to share content, as participants will be able to see it clearly and in detail, even when displayed on a large screen.

The overall majority of members have had no negative impact upon transferring their accounts to Zoom Club. However, please do note the following from Zoom Support.

  • After accepting the invite and joining the [Zoom Club] account, the following details will transfer with you:
    • Your profile details (name, profile picture, time zone, etc)
    • Scheduled meetings and webinars
    • Cloud recordings
    • IM history
    • Contacts
    • Settings- Settings may be altered if they conflict with group or account settings on the [Zoom Club] account you are joining. Any licenses, such as large meeting or webinar, will not transfer. Reporting data will also not be transferred, so it is recommended [you] access and download any needed reports before accepting the account invitation. While IM history is transferred with and accessible to the user, any IM history from before joining the account is not accessible to account admins on the new account.
  • When joining an account with a different Vanity URL, your meeting and webinar IDs will be unaffected, but the join links will be updated with NO Vanity URL. This will cause attendees joining with the old vanity links to be warned that the meeting they are joining is no longer associated with the account of the old vanity url and potentially cause confusion. To avoid this, you can email any guests and update calendar events with the updated join URL, or resend registration confirmation emails.

Please check the specifications from the manufacturer of your webcam. Many newer USB webcams like the Logitech C922, Streamcam, or Brio, Elgato Facecam, and Insta360 Link, offer 1080p (and higher) video resolution.

You can also opt for a higher end video setup with a mirrorless or DSLR camera and HDMI capture device in order to have 1080p video.

Of course! Zoom Club is 2 parts...

  1. An awesome membership; and
  2. A powerful feature-rich Zoom account!

If you use any of these types of software applications to send a video signal with overlays, etc, to Zoom (though "Virtual Camera") then you'll benefit even more from the 1080p high resolution video quality in Zoom! All your overlays will be CRISP and SHARP for your attendees! Buh bye fuzzies!!!
