Curate content using Lists on Twitter & Facebook

We’ve told you before how important it is to put out much more curated (non-selling) content than promotional messages in your social media. But that always opens up the question of how do you compile that much fun, cool stuff to send out in your feeds. The answer is using Facebook and Twitter Lists!

The idea is to create a specific list for different types of content. Maybe you want a list of people who share a lot of tech news. Or maybe there are some accounts that always get you laughing. Make lists for those. Then you can always go to those lists when you want to reshare something. Lists can be public or private. I use private lists to help keep a little more control over what gets shared.

Having ready lists of things I want to share makes it so much easier to ensure my fun-to-selling ratio stays where it should be!
