Level 3 Gear Guide

Level 3 is going LIVE from your computer with software. Most people on Level 3 should keep the gear (cameras, etc) pretty simple to make sure your computer doesn’t choke! If you want to go all out with gear, you’ll want to upgrade to Level 4.

But for now, here are our recommendations for Level 3… plus a few Pro Hacks for a bit of extra goodness!

Logitech C920

The Logitech C920 is a great camera. You could upgrade to the C922 or the C930, but they’re not absolutely necessary.

NOTE: If you’re on a Mac, you’ll want to download the Webcam Settings app to get better results from the Logitech camera.

Blue Yeti

USB Microphone with great quality! It is large and will most likely make it into your shot, but it’s beautiful too, so that’s not necessarily a bad thing!

PRO TIP: When you plug this mic in, it automatically mutes itself (noted by the blinking light). You’ll want to make sure you un-mute it before starting your show.
